Equus quagga quagga

Equus quagga quagga, commonly known as simply Quagga is an extinct subspecies of plains zebra that lived on the grasslands of south Africa and was ultimately wiped out by Homo sapiens, the last known Quagga dying in the 1883 of current era. One of the better known examples of the effects caused by the ignorance and recklessness of the humanity, Quagga serves as an example that no matter how well is an animal doing in its habitat, humans are perfectly capable of ereasing it from the face of the planet.
